Jumpin Jack s Drive-In in Scotia, founded in 1956, ultimately bested the 18-years-older Jack s Drive In in Wynantskill for the title of best burger in Best of 2021.  Jumpin Jack s also claimed the top spot in Best of 2020, after the best hamburger category was changed to a single-location designation. Five Guys, which had been a strong finisher in the past was knocked out, with its eight Capital Region locations splitting the vote.
