UoP Senate approves Rs4204m budget for 2021-22

PESHAWAR: The Senate of the University of Peshawar has approved a Rs4204 million budget for the university. A press release said the Senate meeting was chaired by Chief Minister’s Special Assistant for Higher Education Kamran Bangash at the Governor’s House. UoP Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Idrees, Registrar Saifullah Khan, Treasurer Ayesha Salman, Justice (r) Syed Afsar Shah, secretary higher education, additional secretary finance, MPA Pir Fida, Dr Aziz, Dr Rasool Khan, Rashid Ali Jan and Dr Sar Buland. On the occasion, Dr Idrees informed the participants about the university’s financial position and budget. The provincial government authorities appreciated the UoP’s budget for the financial year 2021-22.
