New Delhi: The construction on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor is in full swing. In fact, the first depot has started taking shape in Uttar Pradesh s Ghaziabad. The 82-km project being implemented by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has started the construction at Duhai in Ghaziabad, which will have the capacity for stabling of 12 RRTS trains, three inspection bay lines and two workshop lines of the standard gauge with a running test track of around one km.

It’s a worrying example of the amount of discretion available to on-ground police personnel especially when it’s about using tech to carry out mass surveillance.
As the protests against the farm laws broke out in November last year, and as farmers started their march towards Delhi, the police had deployed drones to constantly monitor the situation.
