Second batch of Covid vaccines arrive in Mexico

Mexico City, Mexico The second batch of Covid vaccines has arrived in the country. The plane carrying the 42,900 vaccines arrived at the Mexico City International Airport from Belgium over the weekend.
The Pfizer vaccines will continue to be distributed to the country’s health care workers before being rolled out to the general public. The first batch, which arrived last week, was also reserved for use for Mexico’s health care personnel.

Zoé Robledo, director of the Mexican Social Security Institute of Mexico said that the application to health personnel will continue.
