WATERTOWN — Matthieu J. Adams, 20, of 130 Court St., Apt. 403, was charged by city police Sunday with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.
WATERTOWN â A man was still in the emergency room Tuesday morning after his girlfriend allegedly stabbed him several times Monday, according to city police.
Police say a domestic incident inside a home at 176 Duffy St., on Monday led to a physical altercation in which Marilyn A. St. Laurent, 34, of that address, allegedly used a knife to stab her boyfriend, Jeremy Love, in the legs.
Mr. Love was taken to Samaritan Medical Center with lacerations, where police say he remains in the emergency room as of Tuesday morning.
Ms. St. Laurent was charged by city police with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. She was arrested at about 6:15 p.m. and held in the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending an arraignment hearing.
WATERTOWN â Kristopher C. Williams, 23, of 224 Palmer St., Apt. 603, was charged by city police Saturday with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, resisting arrest, as well as a number of traffic and vehicle infractions.
According to police records, Mr. Williams interfered with a valid traffic stop when he refused to identify himself to police and began throwing papers with personal information out of the vehicle in an attempt to prevent officers from seeing them.
Once police tried to take Mr. Williams into custody, they say he flexed his arms, pulled away from the officers and put his arms under his body to avoid handcuffs.
WATERTOWN â Chantelle R. Evans, 27, 661 Factory St., was charged by city police recently with petit larceny after allegedly stealing a cellphone this week.
On Monday at about 7 a.m., Ms. Evans allegedly stole Dillon Williamsâ cellphone. She was arrested shortly afterward and later released from jail with a ticket to appear in City Court.
Michelle A. Spies, 51, 935 State St., was charged by city police Tuesday with third-degree falsely reporting an incident.
At about 6:30 a.m., Ms. Spies allegedly reported falsely that James Heise was in her apartment building when he was not, according to a police report. Ms. Spies was arrested, processed in jail and released with a ticket to appear in City Court.
WATERTOWN â Shaun K. Brandon, 26, of 224 Sherman St., Apt. 3, was charged by city police Sunday with second-degree criminal impersonation of a public servant and second-degree criminal trespass.
According to police records, at about 8:58 p.m., Mr. Brandon knocked on the door of Kathryn E. Lillieâs apartment and announced himself as a âWatertown sheriffâs deputyâ in an attempt to gain access to the apartment. Ms. Lillie opened the door, and Mr. Brandon entered her apartment against her wishes.
Mr. Brandon was arrested at 10:04 p.m. at his residence, taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, processed and released with an appearance ticket.
