WATERTOWN â A months-long investigation by the Metro-Jefferson Drug Task Force resulted in the arrest of one man and seizure of methamphetamine, marijuana and more than $4,000 in cash.
Members of the task force executed a search warrant at 118 S. Pleasant St., lower apartment, at about 8:35 a.m. Monday. The search resulted in the seizure of $4,145 in cash, 30 grams of meth, 1.3 pounds of marijuana, a money counting machine and two sets of digital scales and packaging material.
The search was a result of an investigation by the task force lasting several months, during which information was developed indicating the apartment was allegedly part of an illegal drug operation, according to a news release.

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - When police went to arrest a Watertown man on an unrelated charge, they allegedly spotted what appeared to be meth-making equipment and an illegal assault rifle magazine.
Members of the Metro-Jefferson Drug Task Force say they were called to assist Watertown patrol officers at the 661 Factory Street apartment of 41-year-old Justin Stiles.
After getting a search warrant, police say they found meth-making materials, about four ounces of a liquid containing meth, and a 30-round assault rifle magazine.

Forty-two-year-old Steven Rogers was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after a search yielded 1.3 pounds of marijuana, 30 grams of methamphetamine, $4,145 in cash, a money-counting machine, digital scales, and packaging material.
One drug task force officer told 7 News the money-counting machine may indicate an operation that was bringing in a substantial amount of cash.
