WESTMINSTER, Colo. What started out as a disturbance call to Westminster Police (WPD), was soon upgraded to a shooting when officers arrived to the scene and found a woman with a gunshot wound.
WPD arrived to the 7700 block of Lowell Boulevard close to 3 p.m. Wednesday and found a woman who had been shot – she was transported to a local hospital. According to police, her condition is still unknown.

LITTLETON, Colo. â Littleton police continue to ask for the publicâs help to find the driver of a Toyota suspected of hitting and running over a cyclist earlier this month before leaving the scene.
Police said a bicyclist was riding on West Littleton Boulevard on June 5 before 9 p.m. when he was struck and run over by the driver of a silver Toyota 4-Runner that was leaving the parking lot at 1100 West Littleton Boulevard.
The driver of the Toyota left the scene without stopping to check on or render aid to the injured cyclist, who was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said in a news release.

DENVER â Police in Denver are investigating after at least 15 vehicles were vandalized with hateful messages, including swastikas, in the cityâs Speer neighborhood sometime overnight Monday.
The vehicles targeted in the vandalism incident were parked along the 200 block of South Logan Street and on East Cedar Avenue, from Logan to S. Pennsylvania Street.
The vandals painted swastikas on windows and hoods. Other messages, like âLAND OF NAZIâ were seen spray-painted on vehicles. The N-word was tagged on some cars.

AURORA, Colo. â One man is dead after a shooting in a McDonaldâs parking lot in Aurora Tuesday night.
Aurora officers responded to the fast food restaurantâs parking lot at 2651 South Parker Rd. for reports of a shooting.
When they arrived, they found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The Arapahoe County Coronerâs Office will release the name of the victim after a positive identification and notification of next-of-kin.
The Aurora Police Department Major Crimes Homicide Unit detectives are working to determine what led up to the shooting. The only information about the possible shooter is that the person is suspected to have left the scene in a silver vehicle.
