What started out as a disturbance call to Westminster Police (WPD), was soon upgraded to a shooting when officers arrived to the scene and found a woman with a gunshot wound.  WPD arrived to the 7700 block of Lowell Boulevard close to 3 p.m. Wednesday and found a woman who had been shot – she was transported to a local hospital. According to police, her condition is still unknown.

Police said a bicyclist was riding on West Littleton Boulevard on June 5 before 9 p.m. when he was struck and run over by the driver of a silver Toyota 4-Runner that was leaving the parking lot at 1100 West Littleton Boulevard. The driver of the Toyota left the scene without stopping to check on or render aid to the injured cyclist, who was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said in a news release.

The vandals painted swastikas on windows and hoods. Other messages, like “LAND OF NAZI” were seen spray-painted on vehicles. The N-word was tagged on some cars.

Aurora officers responded to the fast food restaurant’s parking lot at 2651 South Parker Rd. for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office will release the name of the victim after a positive identification and notification of next-of-kin. The Aurora Police Department Major Crimes Homicide Unit detectives are working to determine what led up to the shooting. The only information about the possible shooter is that the person is suspected to have left the scene in a silver vehicle.
