Nicavera, who is the social media content editor and reporter of SunStar Bacolod, is the first Negros Occidental-based journalist to win the prestigious award.
His winning story titled “Urban farming gaining ground amid pandemic,” discussed how backyard farming can help one become self-sufficient especially during this global health crisis.

Prime Road Alternative (Cambodia) Co Ltd will soon break ground on a 60MW solar power plant in southwestern Kampong Chhnang province valued at $37.4 million.
Provincial Department of Mines and Energy director Uk Ros told The Post on July 28 that the project would be built over a year and a half in Teuk Phos district, near the border with Samaki Meanchey district to the southeast, with financial support from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

Six main types of e-commerce businesses are exempt from registration requirements at the Ministry of Commerce, ministry spokesman Pen Sovicheat told The Post on July 27.
The industry is gaining massive popularity in the Kingdom as Covid reshapes consumers’ behaviours and drives a transition to online shopping, a trend that has prompted the government to explore avenues to strengthen management efficiency of the market.
