A GP surgery that serves more than 4,000 patients faces an uncertain future.

But the group has decided to shut down the service at the surgery after Friday, April 30, with a decision on the way forward to be made in March.
The situation is being managed by the Kent and Medway Clinical Commisioning Group (CCG) and it is believed the aim is to keep services going under new management.

Two inseparable 100-year-old identical twins received their Covid vaccines this week and were delighted to get their jabs together.

And just like the major events throughout their lifetimes so far, the sisters were side-by-side once again as they were given the coronavirus jabs on Wednesday.
The ladies, believed to be the UK s oldest identical twins, were vaccinated at the Rochester Healthy Living Centre.

Queuing patients waiting for a Covid-19 vaccination has led to calls for the NHS to ramp up its efforts to open more centres.
GP practices face the challenge of running vaccination clinics alongside ongoing care and treatment for patients as a Gravesham GP urged for patience with more sites in the pipeline .

Gravesham MP Adam Holloway visited the Fleet Health campus clinic, one of the designated vaccination sites in Northfleet, and posted pictures of long queues forming outside.
Hospitals are suspending home births and shutting down stand-alone maternity units as the new strain of coronavirus puts the NHS under increasing pressure.
Since the start of the pandemic, home births have provided a solution for women whose hospitals banned them from having their partner at their side during labour.
But now, with the virus rapidly spreading, NHS Trusts across the South East have been cancelling home birth services, leaving mothers-to-be gutted .
It comes after ambulance chiefs warned they could no longer guarantee to respond to women giving birth at home.
