Steps Being Taken for Growth of the IT Industry: MD PSEB
Osman Nasir, Managing Director, Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) has stated that Pakistan’s IT industry has reached an important milestone in its journey.
Osman Nasir announced in a statement that the present government is taking all the possible steps to ensure a long-term IT industry growth trajectory and to facilitate its exports which are already tax-exempt.

Measures are being undertaken to develop the IT industry ecosystem in the secondary and tertiary cities of Pakistan. In this context, the PSEB registration fee for the IT and ITeS companies, including the call centers and IT startups that are based in the underserved areas has been waived off for one year, and will include all other areas apart from Islamabad, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, and Karachi.

UP govt to establish IT parks in all divisions
Lucknow, Jan 10 (UNI) As the current era of information and communication technology (ICT) gains significance in different walks of life, especially in industries and business sectors, the Uttar Pradesh government has decided to establish IT and Software Technology parks across the state, a senior government official said here on Sunday.
According to Additional Chief Secretary of IT and Electronics Alok Kumar, under the state s IT and Startup policy of 2017, the state government will set up IT parks in all divisions of the state, in collaboration with the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), a Government of India entity.
