TWO men from the Wirral are among 14 arrested following a joint Merseyside Police and North Wales investigation into County Lines drug dealing. The activity was part of ongoing Project Medusa, an operation led by Merseyside Police and set up to tackle County Lines drug dealing and child criminal exploitation into Bangor and Anglesey. Two children and vulnerable adults were safeguarded as part of the operation. Officers from both forces were deployed to areas of North Wales as well as transport hubs, such as Lime Street Station in Merseyside to disrupt criminal activity and safeguard young and vulnerable people exploited by criminal gangs.

Officers from Merseyside Police and Cheshire Constabulary conducted a search warrant on a Merseyside address on Thursday, January 21, leading to the arrest. A 19-year-old man from the Dovecot area of Liverpool has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs, and taken to a police station for questioning.
