Search By Live95 News Team Getty Images Limerick people are expressing their shock and sadness on social media this afternoon following the death of a horse who was left injured in a field overnight.
Limerick Animal Welfare took to Facebook this afternoon with an urgent appeal for help when a horse, who was with foal, became stuck in the Greenfield area of Rosbrien.
A volunteer from the shelter was the scene but a call for extra man power was needed.
The horses back leg was badly broken and had spent at least all of last night and part of today outside in freezing temperatures.
