Meanwhile at Lisarow – the $178 million duplication of the Pacific Highway is powering ahead.
A 600 tonne crane has been busy in recent days – lifting key components into place for the new rail bridge.
“We had 27 10-tonne girders being put in situ over at Lisarow over the existing rail line. // Obviously time was of the essence because we had to do it while the railway line was being closed for regular maintenance.” – ADAM CROUCH, CENTRAL COAST PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY
Work will now start on installing traffic lights at the Railway Crescent and MacDonalds Road intersection.
