Women stabbed in Dublin city last month dies in hospital

The woman, aged in her late 40s, was walking home from work between Georges Dock and the Custom House Quay on January 20th at around 9.30pm when she was attacked. Gardaí say she was pronounced dead at the Mater University Hospital in Dublin on Wednesday. They say they will await the outcome of a post-mortem examination to determine the course of further investigations. A male teenager who was arrested three days after the incident is due before the courts later this month.
