This year’s Pink Caravan Ride (PCR), which was scheduled to hit UAE roads this month, was postponed to the fourth quarter of 2021, it was announced on Thursday.
The team behind PCR a pan-UAE breast cancer awareness drive organised by Friends Of Cancer Patients (FOCP) said the move falls in line with the UAE’s precautionary measures to keep residents safe amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
The PCR urged the community to continue carrying out self-examinations, which could help detect the disease early and increase survival rates by up to 98 per cent.
