A crude bomb was found in Jammu soon after a drone attack on the Air Force base in the city, Jammu and Kashmir police chief Dilbagh Singh told NDTV on Sunday, widening the investigation into what authorities said was a terror strike.

JAMMU: While security agencies in the area are on their toes following the low intensity blasts at Indian Air Force Station, the Jammu Police have foiled a major terror attack by arresting a terrorist of The Resistance Front (TRF) with five kilogram Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in the Narwal area of the city s outskirts.
According to sources in the police, the Special Operation Group (SOG) team on late Saturday evening arrested a terrorist with explosives.

Srinagar, June 27 : Drone with a payload has been suspected to have dropped the explosive material in both the blasts at the Jammu Air Force Station, a top police official told IANS on Sunday.
There were two bomb blasts at the station on Sunday morning which security agencies suspect were carried out by using drones.
The J&K Police have registered an FIR and an investigation is on.
SRINAGAR: Federal investigator, National Investigating Agency (NIA) is likely to investigate the twin low-intensity blasts at the Jammu airport, reports in the media said.
