PP 4 is a continuous, three-column distillation unit, which can run with any combination of the columns in line. The main purpose is to fractionate a multicomponent hydrocarbon stream into up to four boiling range fractions. It can run at atmospheric or sub-atmospheric pressures.

The massive winter storm that hit Texas and left millions without any power or heating is bringing the topic of how electricity is being regulated in the state to the forefront of the discussion.
