Public comment on the candidate will be taken in writing in advance of the meeting. Board members voted 4-1 in a special meeting Friday, with Michael Thomson dissenting, to suspend Board Policy CBB, which outlines the usual procedure for a superintendent search. They voted unanimously to authorize the district s legal counsel, Paul Dakopolos, to negotiate a contract with a prospective interim superintendent candidate subject to board approval at the next board meeting.
