DHS, a venture capital partnership that invests in companies that deliver, or contribute to the delivery of, experiences, announced today the addition of Principal Peter Olsen, Venture Partner James Meyerbeer, and Venture Partner Lilly Holler to its European team.
Holler received her medical degree from Imperial College and holds an MBA from London Business School, where she developed a passion for working alongside entrepreneurs and startups. She is also an angel investor and has served in an advisory capacity to several European accelerators and VCs in the healthcare space, and most recently with a global venture builder with a focus on early-stage tech companies.

PITTSBURGH – The Chicago Cubs today placed infielder Matt Duffy on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to May 23) with a low back strain and selected infielder Patrick Wisdom from Triple-A Iowa. To make room for Wisdom on the 40-man roster, right-handed pitcher Jason Adam has been designated for assignment.
Wisdom, who will wear uniform number 16, is available for tonight’s 6:35 p.m. ET game against the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park.
Wisdom, 29, has posted a .913 OPS with a double, three home runs, 11 RBI, six walks in eight games for Triple-A Iowa this season. After going hitless in his first four games (0-for-14), Wisdom has four hits and five walks in 17 plate appearances spanning his last four contests.

LAWRENCE By many estimates, the Montessori educational approach is the most prevalent alternative pedagogy model in public schools across the United States. While its history stretches back a century, the Montessori model has historically been underrepresented in the field of educational research.
One researcher leading the charge into examining the Montessori education model is Angela Murray, director of the Center for Montessori Research (CMR) within the Achievement and Assessment Institute at the University of Kansas.
“Montessori education has been around for 100 years, but it s always kind of been its own thing, a little bit of a niche of educational approach,” Murray said. “And now there s a growing interest in Montessori education in the public arena.”
