Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has estimated the damage and loss suffered in the early Tuesday morning fire at his residence at Soka, Ibadan, at N50million.
Speaking with journalists shortly after the fire incident, suspected to have been caused by arsonists, Mr Adeyemo described the perpetrators as cowards.

Some elder statesmen in Imo State have condemned the destruction of lives and property in the Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State as a result of the clash between the Nigerian Army and the Eastern Security Network, saying that the government must restore law and order.
The stakeholders in a release on Tuesday also demanded justice for those killed by the military, adding that the state governor, Hope Uzodinma, must show leadership at this critical time.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has accused the Nigerian Army of killing five ‘innocent’ residents of Okporo in the Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State.
Since last Friday, there has been a crisis in Orlu after a clash between ESN officers and soldiers resulted in the deaths of people.

Operatives of the Oyo State chapter of the Western Nigeria Security Network, more commonly known as Amotekun, have intercepted a truck loaded with gunmen suspected to be herdsmen heading to Igangan community in the recently troubled Ibarapa area of the state.
The truck, with registration number TUR30ZY, is registered with Kebbi State and the Amotekun officials found 25 guns and 10 dogs in the truck alongside the suspects.
