Fire Danger Rating; Moderate for West Parry Sound April 8th-14th

The Municipal fire danger rating for the next week is
moderate across the West Parry Sound region.
Normal burning rules are in place and it is your responsibility to check with your local Municipality before you light your fire to determine what is allowed in your area.
Campfires for cooking or warmth, Fire permit fires and residential fireworks are allowed under the moderate danger rating.
Daytime burning is only allowed with a permit.

Both have signed on to provide rooms for the homeless. Part of the agreement includes no cooking or smoking in the rooms and the DSSAB covers any damage, if any, to the rooms by its clients. The Chief Administration Officer of the District of Parry Sound Social Services Administration Board says it wasn’t difficult to convince the owners of two hotels in Parry Sound District to take part in the DSSAB’s Hotel Project for the homeless.
