Kolkata: West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar took to Twitter and said that he will be visiting Sitalkuchi and other places that witnessed post-poll violence on May 13.
Talking to Free Press Journal, Trinamool Congress MP Saugata Roy slammed that move and said that the Governor is âcrossing his limitâ as he is trying to interfere in the domain of the state government.
âThe Calcutta High Court has praised the TMC government for curbing the post-poll violence in West Bengal. I detest this move of the Governor,â claimed Saugata.
Welcoming the move, West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh said that the Governor s visit to the places where several people were killed and injured in post-poll violence will give a boost to the affected people.
