Two drivers had a lucky escape after a nasty crash left their cars crumpled on a Birmingham road. A white Peugeot 208 and a grey Honda CRV were left badly damaged in the collision in York Road, Hall Green last night (June 8).

An inquest has been opened after the body of a man was discovered at a city property 22 days after he was last seen alive.
The man has been identified as Andrew John Riley, and was found by police officers at his home address at Fountain Court in Westport Road, Burslem, on May 21.
A delivery driver is fighting for his life after being run over by his own van while trying to stop a thief from stealing his vehicle.
The man, aged 28, is understood to have been making a delivery when he saw his van being stolen on Oxbarn Avenue in Wolverhampton on Friday afternoon.
He attempted to stop the van as it was driven away and was hit and reportedly dragged along the road.
He was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition.
Around 10 police vehicles were sent to the Bradmore area of the city after the man was injured at around 1pm.
