Police and paramedics rushed to a Midland park as people were said to have screamed and ran after a teenage boy was stabbed. The youth was taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries following the horrifying attack at Lightwoods Park, Bearwood, on Thursday, April 22. A photograph - which can be viewed above - was taken at the scene in Adkins Lane at around 7.40pm and shows at least five police cars in attendance, along with an ambulance.

A boy has been hospitalised following a collision on a main Nuneaton road.
The quad bike rider fighting for life after a horror smash yesterday has been named as Hamza Mushtaq. The college graduate was in collision with a VW Polo and thrown across the road.
Footage from nearby CCTV showed his four-wheeled bike cartwheel down the street as he lay slumped on the floor. Hamza, aged in his 20s, was rushed to hospital following the crash in Ward End Birmingham yesterday afternoon and is in a critical condition.
Relatives confirmed this morning that Hamza was involved in the accident but declined to comment other than to say: ‘He’s still very serious, there hasn’t been much change overnight.’
