A woman suffered potentially serious injuries after a crash in a Staffordshire town.
Police and paramedics were called to Lichfield Road in Stafford at around 3pm yesterday (April 20).
Paramedics confirmed a man and a woman were both taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital.

Police enquiries continue as man in his 40s dies after Cradley Heath house fire POLICE enquiries continue following the death of a man in his 40s who suffered burns in a house fire in Cradley Heath at the weekend. Emergency services were called after a fire at a property in Halesowen Road in the early hours of Sunday morning (April 18) - at around 2.20am. A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and a MERIT trauma doctor attended the scene. On arrival we discovered two patients, both men. One of whom was found in a critical condition.
