Tributes have been paid to a lovely teenager who drowned in a Stoke-on-Trent park as police continue their investigation.
An eye-witness said: Emergency services have gone, they left when the private ambulance arrived. Forensics and one police officer remained until the deceased was taken. We have been told by the emergency services that the deceased is an adult.

Man dies after emergency services called to Stoke-on-Trent property
The emergency services raced to Cromartie Street, in Dresden, shortly before midday to concerns for the welfare of a patient . Sadly a man was confirmed deceased at the property a short time later. More here.

Paramedics issue statement as more details awaited
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 11.50pm today after concerns for the welfare of a patient in Cromartie Street, Deresden. Two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene..”
A CRASH between several cars and a lorry has closed the A49 in Herefordshire, with a man cut free from wreckage by firefighters. A police spokesperson said the A49 is blocked at Pipe and Lyde due to the crash, which involved a number of vehicles. A man has been taken to a major trauma centre following a multi vehicle collision in Hereford this morning. West Midlands Ambulance Service said it was called to Church Road near Kenchester Water Gardens in Lyde at 6.14am today (Tuesday). Three ambulances, a paramedic officer, a critical care paramedic and a Mercia Accident Rescue Service (MARS) BASICS doctor were sent to the scene.

Emergency services were called after a car left the road and smashed into trees on a roundabout in Telford.

The crash happened at about 10.50pm on Monday at Hortonwood Roundabout near Donnington.
The fire service reported the smash involved one saloon vehicle which had left the road and that nobody was trapped.
West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) came across the scene and confirmed nobody was seen to by paramedics.
An ambulance spokeswoman said: An ambulance came across a car which had collided with trees on the A518 in Telford at 10.52pm on Monday. There were no patients on scene.
