MOORHEAD, Minn. (KFGO) – A 17-year-old girl is now facing charges in the shooting death of a cab driver in Moorhead last week.
The girl is in the West Central Juvenile Detention Center. She’s accused of driving the car that was used when police say 18-year-old Willie Sparkman shot and killed the taxi driver, 24-year-old Abdullahi Abdullahi.
A complaint has been filed for aiding and abetting first-degree conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery, first-degree attempted aggravated robbery, second-degree murder without intent while committing a felony.
Police say Abdullahi was shot in a robbery attempt. They say the 17-year-old was also driving when Sparkman committed two armed robberies in Fargo prior to the shooting.

Moorhead police have arrested a juvenile female for her role in the murder of a Moorhead cab driver.
Authorities say the 17-year old female is being held at the West Central Juvenile Detention Center.
On Wednesday of last week police arrested 18-year old Willie Sparkman of Fargo for the murder of 24-year old Abdullahi Abdullahi.
The female will not be identified to the public based on her age. A complaint has been filed for aiding and abetting: the first degree conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery…first degree attempted aggravated robbery…second degree murder without intent while committing a felony.
