Three people were arrested last week after deputies seized hundreds of marijuana plants from an illegal grow just west of Moorpark city limits, authorities said on Tuesday.
The arrests were made around 10 a.m. on Thursday in the 8700 block of West Los Angeles Avenue, according to the Ventura County Sheriff s Office.
Deputies served a search warrant at the location and found an illegal marijuana farm with several greenhouses, an irrigation system and a power supply. Deputies detained a 60-year-old man and a 34-year-old man at the scene. Both were Moorpark residents.
A second search warrant was served at the older man s residence in the 6300 block of Turfway Road. Detectives seized additional evidence and also detained a 30-year-old Moorpark man.
