DEA s Latest Policy Change Another Burden on Cannabis Research

January 19, 2021 CANNABIS CULTURE –  Dr. John Streicher of the University of Arizona says the DEA’s new regulations offer no help to researchers and he’s not the only one. “From my point of view it makes no difference at all,” Streicher says under the new rules he will still need to file for a Schedule I license with the DEA, as he did under the old regulations.  Streicher’s research focuses on pain management, often with opioids and requires a Schedule II license. With routine inspections, Streicher can research opioids: codeine, morphine, and oxycodone with little oversight.  The security requirements for storing Schedule I substances in the lab is far higher. Streicher says that isn’t the only difficulty, “It’s the additional burden of all the details.”

We already know that the Taycan Cross Turismo is going to come out soon enough, and spy shots have been taken to confirm that. However, this picture features a Taycan with no distinguishable differences from the basic model.

Studies show that we value it more than success, knowledge, or material items. And yet, in a world that has continued to progress and become objectively better by most conceivable standards, why do many find this such a difficult goal to reach? As important as happiness is, how much do we know about it and its impacts on individual and global progress?
