Norfolk General Hospital’s Chief Of Staff travelled out of the country at the end of November.
NGH’s CEO Lucy Bonanno confirmed that Dr. Mohammad Amir Sheik-Yousouf travelled to an undisclosed location at the end of November and returned at the beginning of December, taking 14-days after the fact to self-isolate.
The hospital has reviewed the situation and has decided that Dr. Mohammad Amir Sheik-Yousouf will remain on as Chief of Staff.
In the release, it further goes on to state that Dr. M. Amir Sheik-Yousouf
is a prominent physician that is serving Haldimand-Norfolk and that he has taken care of their most critical patients who have required urgent care since the start of the pandemic.
