Community mental health millage tightly passes in Genesee County special election

GENESEE COUNTY, MI Genesee Health System’s community mental health millage that will provide more than $90 million over the course of ten years was approved by voters on the May 4 ballot.
The millage passed with 54 percent of the vote. There were 23,636 votes in favor and 19,507 against, according to Genesee County election reporting data.
