The CrossClimate2 launched in 2020 and brought a combination of performance and safety attributes that have never been seen in a passenger or crossover tire in North America. The tire was initially available in 25 sizes. With the phase two launch, the tire is now available in 55 sizes, making Michelin s biggest passenger tire innovation in 20 years available to a large segment of North American drivers.

GREENVILLE, S.C., Michelin North America Inc. said its CrossClimate2 tire portfolio now fits 76% of the best-selling automobiles and crossover vehicles in today s market, after adding 30 sizes to the product s lineup.
Michelin called the all-season tire, which originally was released in 25 sizes last August, its biggest passenger tire innovation in 20 years, with the expansion making it available to a large segment of North American drivers.
At a virtual introduction of the tire last year, Michelin Chairman and President Alexis Garcin said the product will completely redefine the all-season category.
According to the tire maker, the CrossClimate2 s V-formation tread pattern works with the tire s rubber compound to deliver multiple attributes, including:

GREENVILLE, S.C. Michelin North America Inc. s BFGoodrich Tires brand is expanding its motorsports involvement by agreeing to support racers active in the World Off Road Championship Series (WORCS) as that predominantly two-wheeler-focused body expands its burgeoning ATV/ UTV classes.
Founded in 2001 to support off-road motorcycle racing,
WORCS is branching into the rapidly growing areas of ATV/QUAD and side-by-side/UTV racing.
WORCS has scheduled a dozen race weekends for the ATV/UTV classes. The season opened Jan. 15-17 at Lake Havasu, Ariz.

BFGoodrich has designated its Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 UTV tire for this series, saying it delivers extreme traction and toughness for sport and multi-purpose UTVs. Mud-phobic bars on the shoulders help release compacted mud, while the terrain-attack tread pattern enhances grip on rock and slick surfaces.
Apollo to raise prices of Vredestein brand tires

ATLANTA Apollo Tyres Ltd. said it will increase prices on its Vredestein brand up to 5 percent, effective March 1, including adjustments at article and pattern level.
Apollo said the price hike reflects increases in raw material cost and in global ocean freight rates. Michelin completes rigid dump-truck tire lineup

GREENVILLE, S.C. Michelin North America Inc. is completing the Xtra Load lineup with the addition of the 21.00R33 dimension for rigid dump trucks.
The new Xtra Load Grip and the Xtra Load Protect will allow users to increase load capacity by 10% or accommodate more distance per hour to maximize productivity, the company said.
Both tires will be offered in A4 and B rubber compounds. The Michelin Xtra Load tire line is complemented by the Michelin Xtra Defend line for articulated dump trucks, Sarah Robinson, B2B mining marketing manager for Michelin North America, said.
