A snowstorm set to blanket the state Sunday moved into Monroe County with about 1/2 inch accumulation.
But by Sunday evening a winter storm warning will be in effect as the area braces for an approximate 20 inches.
The area is supposed to see a new snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches Sunday evening, with an additional 7 to 11 inches Monday according to the National Weather Service.
The nor easter will move north throughout the state, hitting eastern Pennsylvania first before moving north. Timing and temperature will determine how much the areas around Philadelphia will get. As temperatures rise, the snow will turn to a wintry mix and possibly rain.
