The alleged director of a plot to raid a security van in west Belfast must remain in custody, a High Court judge has ruled.
Jason McMillan was refused bail amid claims that he was part of a gang that planned to carry out a cash-in-transit heist.
The 30-year-old was among three men arrested last month during a police surveillance operation.
Two co-accused were detained after officers intervened at shops in the Northumberland Road area on March 6.
The pair were in a car from which a loaded gun was recovered, prosecutors said.
McMillan, of Duncairn Parade in the city, was arrested separately and faces a single charge of conspiracy to rob.

Defensive line is definitely a need, as is tight end, wide receiver, edge rusher, linebacker, cornerback and offensive line depending on how free agency works out. With the reported news that Jonnu Smith, Matt Judon, Henry Anderson and Davon Godchaux are signing and will be in New England that takes tight end, edge rusher and defensive line down the list of needs a bit. Maryland State Police Investigating Fatal Crash In Prince George’s County

(COLLEGE PARK, MD) – Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred last night in Prince George’s County.
Shortly after 10 p.m., troopers from the Maryland State Police College Park Barrack responded to southbound Crain Highway at John Hanson Highway for a motor vehicle crash. According to a preliminary investigation, a Chrysler 300 sedan for unknown reasons traveled off road to the left and overturned. Both the driver and front seat passenger were entrapped in the vehicle.
The occupants of the vehicle, both females, were transported to the University of Maryland Prince George’s Hospital Center for treatment of their injuries. The driver, Michelle McMillan, 42, of Crofton, Maryland, died at the hospital.
Three men have appeared in court in Belfast after they were arrested by police investigating a series of armed robberies in which more than £200,000 was stolen.
Jason McMillan (30), Michael McMillan (27) and Stephen Allen (23) were arrested on Saturday morning by the Paramilitary Crime Task Force (PCTF).
One of the arrests was caught on camera by onlookers showing undercover plain-clothes police officers yelling at a man to stay on the ground.
Video footage showed an officer wearing a hi-viz baseball cap pointing a high-powered rifle at the suspect outside shops in the Northumberland Street and Divis Street area of Belfast as shoppers and commuters went about their morning business.
