Some CDNs capped at 200 Mbps download speed I ve noticed that when downloading from some CDNs on Optimum that they don t go full beans , and instead cap out at ~200 Mbps. Some of these include Apple SW downloads (HTTP only - HTTPS goes much faster), Microsoft Store/Windows Update, and the Epic Games CDN. Other CDNs (like the Steam CDN, Google Drive downloads, Dropbox, etc) work at the full speed of my connection, only getting throttled by my computer/disk speeds. These CDNs are getting capped by my IP (e.g, downloading on multiple devices from these CDNs will sum up to 200 Mbps - it s not a per-device thing).
