It has been a pretty cold weekend in Alabama. As we wake up across the state, we are in the low 30s. If you are heading out today, make sure you bundle up.
There are snow and sleet potentials across parts of Central Alabama for late tonight into early Monday morning. Possible near or below freezing temperatures will be across the Northwestern counties such as Fayette, Lamar, Marion, Walker, and Winston.
In areas with near or below freezing temperatures, you could see some light snowfall. Then as temperatures rise, it could transition into rain. Those areas in the temperature range between 34 to 36 degrees could experience rain with a wintry mix.
