Health-care services provider investigating
CBI Health Group, a community health-care services provider under contract to the Central East Local Health Integration Network, said in a statement on Tuesday it has launched an investigation.
A total of $607,000 in funding is being given to the Haliburton Highlands Health Services (HHHS).
The funding will be used for:
$40,000 will be used to made repairs to the roof at HHHS’ hospital in Minden
$142,000 is earmarked to update the lightning at the Haliburton site with light-emitting diode retrofits. That will replace all T8 and compact fluorescent lamps with new LED fixtures.
$425,000 is set to be used to replace three existing Volanco boilers at the Haliburton site with two new high-efficiency oil-fired boilers that will help with energy efficiency
“This funding is coming from the (Central East Local Health Integration Network),” Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock MPP Laurie Scott said Thursday.
