Taipei, May 19 (CNA) The number of new domestic COVID-19 cases reported in Kaohsiung on Wednesday was revised down to seven from eight after one of the cases was found to have a false positive test result, according to the city s health department.
The case involved a 6-year-old girl in the southern Taiwan city who tested negative after she first showed a weak positive response on May 17, when she was hospitalized for cancer treatment, the department said.
