13 COVID-19 cases recorded

The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating 13 additional COVID-19 cases, of which two are local cases with unknown sources of infection, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Hong Kong to 11,480.
The male patient is a decoration worker who last went to work on March 27. He developed a cough and diarrhoea on March 28 and consulted a private doctor the following day. His sample submitted on the same day tested positive.
The female patient is a restaurant staff member and last went to work on March 31. She developed shortness of breath on March 29. She went to a community testing centre the next day and tested positive.

HSBC has temporarily shut its main Hong Kong office after three workers tested positive for COVID-19.
There has been a wave of infections in the city following an outbreak at a local gym.

Morgan Stanley is understood to have had one case. The bank declined to comment.
