HONG KONG (China Daily/ANN): Hong Kong reported 98 new Covid-19 infections on Tuesday (Dec 15), including 89 locally transmitted ones, bringing the city’s tally to 7,721.
Thirty of the new infections were untraceable, Chuang Shuk-kwan of the Centre for Health Protection said at a press briefing in the afternoon.
Two more patients have died, Hospital Authority’s Chief Manager Linda Yu said at the same press briefing.
They involved a 79-year-old man who died at Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday afternoon and a 64-year-old female patient at Eastern Hospital who died earlier on Tuesday afternoon.
