The McLean County Health Department reported three more COVID-related deaths on Friday.
Three more people have died from COVID-19 complications in McLean County, the McLean County Health Department (MCHD) reported Friday.
One was a man in his 30s, the other two were a woman in her 70s and a man in his 80s. None were associated with long-term care facilities, according to the health department. The three deaths bring the county’s total number of COVID-related deaths to 224.

The McLean County Health Department (MCHD) reported 32 new daily coronavirus cases from a batch of about 1,500 tests conducted overnight. The county’s total of confirmed and probable coronavirus cases since the start of the pandemic stands at 17,779.

Bloomington-Normal hospitals remain nearly full following another surge in COVID-related hospitalizations.
The McLean County Health Department (MCHD) reported Carle BroMenn Medical Center and OSF St. Joseph Medical Center are 96% full, including 96% of intensive care beds in use. The two hospitals have 48 COVID patients under their care. That s up from 31 reported on Friday.
The McLean County Health Department announced 124 new coronavirus cases Monday.

MCHD said 21 McLean County residents are hospitalized with COVID-19. That s down from 22 on Friday.
