As the city of Columbia honors Memorial Day, city offices will be closed and trash and recycling collection will be delayed one day after the holiday for the remainder of the week.
Other closures on Memorial Day:
The sanitary landfill will be closed.
City buses will not operate.
Parking meters will not be enforced.
Administrative offices for both the police and fire departments will be closed; all other emergency services will be available.
The day after Memorial Day, the City of Columbia and Boone County will no longer require masks inside of city or county government buildings.
