BAD AXE Like plenty of other places in Huron County, Bad Axe City Hall has had to close its doors and have employees work from home during this year’s pandemic.
Dale VanDeVusse, the Bad Axe city manager, said that city hall has had its doors closed to the public for the better part of the year, with a drop box located outside for residents to drop their bills off.
“It’s worked out pretty good for us, though it s not as friendly as having our doors open,” VanDeVusse said. “We’ve been able to bring people in for face-to-face appointments when needed.”
