Utica Police say they were dispatched to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital around 8:40 p.m. regarding a walk-in gunshot victim. When they got there, they were directed to a woman who was located in one of the trauma rooms. She had one gunshot wound to her mid-back area. Police say the shooting happened on the 1300 block of Mary St. The woman was seated in a vehicle and was struck by gunfire. She was then immediately transported to the hospital where she remains in stable condition.
