A medical event may have led to a single-vehicle crash Wednesday in North Codorus Township that killed one person, the York County coroner’s office said.
The man, who has not been identified until more family are notified, was wearing a seatbelt and was the only occupant of the vehicle that was traveling east on West College Avenue just before 3 p.m. The car suddenly crossed over into opposing traffic and went up an embankment, which led to the vehicle rolling three or four times.
Northern York County Regional Police said the driver was a 67-year-old man who resided in West Manchester Township. He was driving a 2007 Toyota Highlander.
