DRYDEN, N.Y. (WHCU) – The Finger Lakes Land Trust announces the establishment of a perpetual conservation easement in Dryden’s Six Mile Creek watershed.
The easement will help protect public water supplies for the city of Ithaca and surrounding communities.
The 13-and-a-half-acre parcel will include efforts to restore the stream bank, preventing potential contaminants from entering the water.
It was funded in part through New York’s Water Quality Improvement Project Program. Tags:
