Man on Laredo bridge found in possession of counterfeit records

A man landed behind bars after he was found in possession of fraudulent records, according to an arrest affidavit filed on Monday.
Eusebio Guadalupe Perez-Mendoza, of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, was about to exit the country via the Juarez-Lincoln International Bridge when U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers selected him for secondary inspection.
Perez-Mendoza, 27, stated to CBP officers that he was traveling from Indiana to Mexico to visit family. He additionally claimed that he was a U.S. citizen but added that he did not have any form of identification other than a Mexican voter s card.
