July 28, 2021 - 4:46 PM Interior Health is hosting new drop-in COVID-19 vaccination clinics following the announcement that new mask and gathering restrictions will soon be in effect. Earlier today, Dr. Bonnie Henry announced new mask requirements in all Central Okanagan public spaces and a limit on gatherings. She also encouraged people to avoid non-essential travel to the region until they re fully vaccinated. The restrictions were announced due to the rise in cases in 20 to 40-year-olds. People can get their first or second dose by dropping in at any of Interior Health’s immunization clinics or by appointment. Register online for a COVID-19 vaccine by visiting the provincial website, call 1-833-838-2323, or visit a Service BC office listed here, and then book an appointment.
