WWE has announced that the Big E vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn is now a Lumberjack Match for Friday’s Christmas Day edition of SmackDown on FOX which was taped today.
Below is the updated lineup:
- Charlotte Flair and RAW Women’s Champion Asuka will defend their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles vs. TBA
- WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn defends against Big E in a Lumberjack Match
- WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns defends against Kevin Owens in a Steel Cage match

Last week’s WWE Raw drew a historically low viewership, and things didn t improve much for this Monday s episode which featured all the fallout from WWE TLC pay-per-view.
Showbuzz Daily revealed the red-brand drew an overnight three hour average of 1.691 viewers, an increase from last week’s 1.52 million.
It was the fourth most watch show on cable behind Monday Night Football. The show averaged a .65 in the 18-49 demographic.
Vince McMahon is reportedly looking to reboot the brand over the next several weeks to try and increase viewership heading into the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

WWE taped the Christmas episode of SmackDown on Tuesday and the main event of the show featured a big title change.
The main event was a lumberjack match between Sami Zayn and Big E for Zayn’s Intercontinental Championship. Big E picked up the victory and is now a 2x Intercontinental Champion having previously held it in 2013 after defeating Curtis Axel.
