A new settings option called “Effect Intensity” will allow players to change the intensity and motion of visuals in the arena to either “default” or “low.” The “low” setting will not only disable pulsing effects and flashing lights, but will also reduce or disable moving effects/background visuals and reduce the brightness or intensity of background lights. Seeing as accessibility is becoming a bigger topic in gaming with each passing year, it is nice to see Psyonix including the option.
